Talkshop At Walmartlive Livestreaming Will Convert Viewers Into Buyers

Walmart is intensifying its support for livestream shopping in an effort to accomplish its lofty target of $200 billion in worldwide sales within the next five years.

The retail behemoth is collaborating with TalkShopLive in an effort to broaden its audience by informing its followers about livestream shopping episodes in real time, with the ultimate goal of creating more interest and increasing sales conversions.

Up to this point, TalkShopLive has provided shoppable live streams for both well-known celebrities and retail behemoths including Oprah, Jennifer Lopez, Dolly Parton, and Bobby Flay.

Together, Walmart and TalkShopLive have come up with a strategy to provide a variety of goods, from books and music to beauty and home goods, using a technology called Shoppable Simulcast that makes it simple for sellers to broadcast.

While ensuring that the essential shopping component of the experience is preserved, they use Facebook Live to broadcast their interactive shopping experiences on their Facebook business page. This functionality will debut on Facebook as the initial platform.

On Tuesday, June 20, Walmart will be the first company to use TalkShopLive’s Shoppable Simulcast offering. Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman, who has worked with TalkShopLive on a number of retail events, will be the featured speaker for the event.
